Mapping our Carbon Footprint

We mapped our footprint, properly. This means mapping it across Scope 1, 2 and 3. What’s this scope chat about? It basically means that we measured our footprint end-to-end. Including everything from the carbon emitted from farming our ingredients, right down to the emissions from the light bulbs in the shops that sell our snacks. The whole lot.

On average, a bag of PROPERCORN or PROPERCHIPS weighs in at ~80-100 gCO2e per 30g bag. Not bad. But could be better. We’re on a mission to get this to zero.

Bringing down our Carbon

We know where we’re at. We understand what we need to do. So now’s the time for action. Below is the breakdown of our carbon footprint which will steer the choices we make, to get to Carbon Net Zero by 2030. Zero Carbon snacks aren’t really a thing, which is why we’ll be putting in the graft to hit a 50% carbon reduction before offsetting the rest (using solid credits, not the cheap stuff).
